Chris Rietz, Principal
I am fortunate to serve as the Principal of Agua Caliente Elementary School, a place that has been my professional home for many years. Throughout my time here, I’ve served in a variety of roles including classroom teacher, special education teacher, special education lead, and assistant to the principal. Each of these experiences has shaped my commitment to student success, staff collaboration, and a strong, supportive school community.
As Principal, I work closely with our incredible staff, students, and families to foster a culture grounded in the Professional Learning Community (PLC) process. I’m passionate about building systems that support learning for all whether it’s through data-informed instruction, targeted interventions, or creating enriching opportunities for growth.
Agua Caliente is more than just a school, it's a caring community where every child is known, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. I’m committed to continuing this tradition of excellence and helping every student learn, grow, and succeed.
Michelle Cerepak, Dean of Students
As Dean of Students at Agua Caliente Elementary School, I’m proud to support our students' academic, emotional, and social development every day. With experience ranging from special education paraprofessional, teaching second and third grade to serving as a Dean at a K–4 campus, I bring a strong foundation in classroom instruction, behavior support, and student advocacy. I work closely with students, staff, and families to foster a safe, inclusive school culture where all children feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
What drew me to Agua Caliente, and continues to inspire me, is the strong sense of community and shared commitment to kindness, leadership, and growth. From our Ben’s Bells Kindness Award program to peer mediation and student council, I’m continually impressed by the many ways our students are empowered to shape their school experience in positive ways. As a parent in the district myself, I know firsthand how meaningful it is to be part of a school that feels like a true village.
I believe that every challenge a student faces is also an opportunity to teach, connect, and support. Whether I’m tying a shoe in the hallway or helping a student navigate a tough moment, I’m committed to creating strong relationships rooted in trust and care. I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of this amazing ACES community, where our shared goal is helping every student thrive academically, behaviorally, and beyond.
